Happy Friday! I hope you all have gotten a head start on reading module 3 and working out some of the problems. Make sure that as you read and do the problems you are writing down any questions you might have so that we can work on it Monday. Module 3 will be exploring the world of atoms and molecules. Get yourself familiar with the periodic table, because it will become your best friend and is the back bone of chemistry. Remember where the metals, nonmetals, and transition metals are located. Those elements on the periodic table bond together to make compounds, which is what we will be studying the rest of the year. On Monday we will be doing The Conservation of Mass lab (experiment 3.1 pg. 71). Lab partners are changing, so check in with your new partner to divide up the materials that need to be brought to lab.
